WAWA is a non-digital, nature-based education center that is a fusion of ideas, philosophies, and practices that nurture the whole child.
Every Child Has A Unique Genius
WAWA celebrates, encourages, and facilitates children losing the cares of the world and `finding themselves’ through their fascination, curiosity, and imagination. For young children especially, promoting and prolonging their natural inclination to dreaminess is key. Play and interest-based, hands-on, learning-by-doing, allow children’s unique genius to emerge.
A Well Nourished Mind Is A Healthy Mind
Growing, harvesting, and preparing food teaches children valuable life skills such as how to nourish their bodies as they tend, and care for the earth.
Nature Therapy
Children learn how to relax and recalibrate their nervous systems through spending time in the forest, in the garden, as well as indoor hands-on, non-digital activities.
